Anshika is a versatile therapist with a blend of physiotherapy knowledge and hands on approach. She is culturally diversified as her studies, work & ambition have taken her from India to USA to Canada .
She completed her 4.5 year Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy in India from RGUHS. She was blessed to receive Scholarship to complete her Master’s degree in USA after which she practiced as a licensed physiotherapist for 9 years in different States across USA. Her husband’s work brought her to Canada and now she is all set to make Canada her home and alleviate people’s pain through her skills and knowledge.
She has a unique work experience throughout her career ranging from treating musculoskeletal conditions including back pain, neck pain , sports injuries such as tennis elbow, ACL and pre/ post surgical hip/ knee/ shoulder replacements ; neurological conditions such as Stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s, MS; Cardiac conditions such as pre/post heart surgeries, heart failure; Pediatric population for CP, Autism, Down Syndrome and Geriatric population for balance/ falls and Alzheimer’s. Her prime interest is in musculoskeletal conditions with a in dwelling interest in Women’s health.
Her certifications include Maitland Manual therapy techniques, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization ( IASTM) and LSVT for Parkinson’s.She is currently enrolled in Mulligan Mobilization techniques for nov 2021.
She believes in long term pain relief by finding the root cause of it and treating it through a hands on approach, exercises, patient’s education and various modalities.
