Physiotherapy is the use of physical techniques to improve the human body’s movement and stability systems, and includes the treatment of a range of tissues such as muscle, joints, ligaments, tendons and bone. It utilises various treatments, including modalities, hands-on therapy and exercise techniques, to improve how your body moves and feels. It also serves to reduce pain and stiffness that arise due to injury, chronic conditions, or lifestyle factors.

At Synergy Rehab, we utilise effective physiotherapy treatments through first-rate diagnostics, proven manual therapy techniques and exercise therapy principles, to restore and maintain functional movement while reducing pain and promoting healthy mobilisation and stability. We use a hands-on clinical approach to diagnose and treat soft tissue and joint injuries, and can employ a combination of different treatment options to maximise results for your specific condition, including manipulation, mobilisation, electrotherapy, intramuscular stimulation, acupuncture, taping, and exercise.

The most common conditions treated through physiotherapy include pain in the lower back, neck, hands, arm joints, and leg joints, ligament sprains and muscle strains, whiplash and soft tissue injury, disc herniation, and conditions of the joints and tissues such as tendonitis and bursitis.
